On January 2, 2022, you and I embarked on a new journey together and EnvisionCo Blog was born. Knowing my tendency to get distracted, I set a simple, achievable goal: write one article per week. This would mean 52 articles by year's end. Honestly, I doubted I could maintain it. Writer's block hit hard, and I often felt like every idea was already taken. But I persevered. Now here we are, 156 articles later. I did it! And you've been here with me every step of the way. Thank you.

Our inaugural article, "New Year, New Me: All Starts with Time" emphasized the power of time management for stress reduction. We discussed how effective time management can eliminate feelings of constant rushing, chronic lateness, low productivity, frustration, impatience, and procrastination. As we approach the end of another year, I encourage you to revisit this article before the new year begins. We all need periodic reminders, and this piece may offer valuable insights to kickstart 2025 on the right foot.

In 2023, our article, "New Year, New Intentions," shifted our focus to our intentions. I recognized from my 2022 that there were some areas that even I desired to be more intentional. I figured this would be a beautiful thing to bring to both my therapy and coaching clients. Why? Because brain science supports the power of intention. By setting intentions, we direct our attention towards our goals, rewiring our brains and influencing future behavior. Like a steering wheel guiding a car, intention keeps us focused on our desired direction. It allows us to overcome past limitations and consciously choose how we want to live, from health and relationships to career development. Even small actions, when done with intention, enhance purpose and awareness. This empowers us by giving us control over our lives, acknowledging our free will, and fostering present-moment awareness, a crucial step towards behavioral change.

Building upon this foundation, 2024 saw us embark on the theme, "New Year, New Wallet." I challenged each of my readers and followers on social media to join in on a 52 Week Money Challenge. This challenge provided a structured approach to building a financial cushion over the course of a year, making it accessible to people of all income levels. But I didn't just tell you to save and leave you all to your own devices. I also raised your level of awareness of how much your mentality and emotions affect your wallets. Throughout the year, we explored how mindfulness could help us develop positive money habits and create happier wallets. We acknowledged the complex world of emotions and their impact on both us and our finances. Through conversations and exploration of the connection between mindfulness and money, it became clear that our emotions should not be treated as adversaries to overcome but as integral facets of our human experience. Then we learned mindfulness strategies which enabled us to have a more heightened awareness of our spending habits, emotional triggers, and clearer understanding of money scripts that interfere with our money goals.

I’ve truly loved our time together here at EnvisionCo Blog and hope I’ve shared something that’s been helpful or meaningful to you. My goal has always been to add value to your life through this space. For this introvert, stepping out of my comfort zone to share with the world wasn’t always easy, but your kindness has made it so rewarding. From liking blog posts and leaving thoughtful comments to sharing my content with others and even donating regularly, your support has meant the world to me. Thank you for being a part of this journey!

So where to now? I definitely know that I want to continue bringing articles to you all. I have not yet decided on the frequency, but the articles will continue to come as this is my community service. I will continue to bring to you, various topics with the intention of helping you continue to develop and nurture your subjective level of well-being or in regular talk-your life satisfaction. We will explore this through looking at our financial wellness (investing, saving, and side hustles), or looking at mindfulness to help manage stress, or encouraging literacy to stimulate our intellectual wellness, or even getting up off our feet and moving to promote more physical wellness. So the answer to the question of what we are going to be doing for 2025....

Well maybe we won’t take over the world—but we’ll take charge of our own. As always, I appreciate your readership. Thank you for being here, for engaging with this journey, and for inspiring me to keep growing. Please know that I would love to hear from you. Let me know in the comments below which blog article or tips have been the most impactful to you this year. This site is all about wellness and I want you to remember that wherever you are on this wellness journey, do not worry about getting it perfect; just get it going. Until next time. Happy reading! See you in 2025!
